I have taken the face off of the panel and found that the light is burned out. However, the rest of the unit is stuck in the dash. Is there a way to take the rest of the unit out without removing the Radio? Thanks

I think you have to actually remove the radio in order to remove the dash face. I believe it is held in by two small allen head screws at either side.

I have a similar problem regarding the lighting.
After seeing that picture, I noticed that the climate control dials all are lit. The parts that do not light on my climate control are the fan speed adjuster, fan direction adjuster, along with the driver and passenger temperature adjuster. I was wondering if the same applies for me. I have an aftermarket radio so removal takes a whole 2 seconds. So I just remove radio and then remove climate control? Any specific directions? Thanks

I bought a new small bulb from the stealer and figured out that the bulb behind the panel just pulls out. I pulled the knobs and face off again, replaced the bulb and snaped(the face) back on the unit. Thanks for the info

also stupenal, you shouldn't have to remove the radio for this project but I'm not sure what year your car is.
