Thanks to Jared I was able to check my engine codes,Jared you the man" but I don't know what I came up with. It shows code 1222 which is Lambda Control 1. I called the local dealer and he kind of gave me the run around and said it was something before the cat converter or maybe could be a lean condition. But he was more than ready to set up an appointment for me to bring my car in. Before I do this does anyone know what Lambda Control 1 is? Thanks, Vernon

Lambda control usually points to a faulty or worn out oxygen sensor. Have you noticed a sulphur-like smell coming from the car? Or a hesitation at all? These are inidcations of a faulty sensor. I also have a tech article that tells you how to diagnose and replace the O2 sensor, if that helps at all..
