random bell in a 1987 325i

Check this out: randomly, with no change at all in the running of the car, no lights lighting up or anything, a bell will sound (like when you leave the keys in and open the door); but only once; not consecutively like when you open the door. It just started happening, and there is absolutely no pattern to it. Any ideas?

Temperature is below ore has reached 36 deg F. temp warning if you have on board computer. nest time you hear it, check the computer. It'll prob be flashing 36 or below, or possibly the speed warning. Same thing happened when I bought my car. drove me nuts.

Hi, Dr. Nick!

I noticed that my temp sensor in the car is showing -22 Degrees F. Im thinking that maybe the sender is faulty.
