I don't have any pictures, posted this question because i am about to replace RTABs with removal/install tool from http://www.victoryproductdesign.com/tools_main.htm for $84.00, its a good deal considering that renting tool somewhere else cost more.
The owner of this company told me that this tool is good for later E36 M3s (like '97 and after) - if the RTABs dont have kind of metal flange.
I am not sure what this metal part is that's why i posted this question.
I just wanted to confirm that RTABs on my '99 M3 can be replaced/installed with this tool.
Do you have any advise on this?

Thank you,
Mark

96+ have the metal flanges in the middle(hard to explain I will try and find a picture). OEM replacements now do not have the metal flange for any year. With the victory tool you need to take out the flanges. I have the tool(well my dad larry f. here does) but have yet to use it yet. Will let you know when I have tried it out.
