keep an eye open

Hey all,
I just bought this seat off an ebay auction. It looks pretty good, but I've yet to install it and see how it performs. It turns out that I need adaptors to install it, and they're going to cost me more than I paid for the seat if I buy them new.

Anyway, if anybody here sees Recaro-E30 brackets for a reasonable price, would you let me know?

Also, if you see another seat of similar to this one, I'm in the market for a passenger side seat.

Thanks!

David

Those look like E21 seats...

That may be why you're having problems..

It might be an E21 seat. The person I bought it from didn't say where it came from. It does look like OEM seat, though. They may be old, but they're better from every direction than the "leatherette" (how i hate that euphamism) seats that are in there currently. The thigh bolsters aren't quite as high as I'd hoped for, but the kidney bolsters are better and fabric should be more breathable than vinyl to boot. (The A/C is dead and I don't plan repairing it.)
