The host of this board (Wayne or in the BMW board case Jared) would be who I would start with for information on making your car a "street racer". They have information, a parts company, and access to other hi-po parts.

Ok, kid. We indulged you once in this whole "street racer" thing. I'm going to say this again:

1. Don't street race. You might kill someone other than yourself.
2. BMW's aren't your best choice for a "street" type drag racer. Any of them.
3. If your goal is still to "show your taillights" to Hondas, you're still barking up the wrong tree here.
4. Don't street race.

That said, if you really just misspoke (again) and want to make a street car that is trackable (road course, not drag strip), we can help you with that.

You seem pretty trollish now, though.

thats why it was in qoutation marks meaning not street racer but of th concept behind it which would mean also track car. I am just starting out on the quarter mile race frist anyways. Which is set up on a special track

Ok, im with ettsn here, perhaps you really need to re-consider what term you use to explain this. "street racing" and track car mean two different things.

Like I said before, the BEST thing you can do is to spend some money on a driving course..

Bingo. Best upgrade at any cost is to improve the part between the seat and the steering wheel.

I've read most of the threads out there that ol' tylor has been posting...

all right...here's the plan...what tylor needs is a car that he can take to the track for some good organized fun, then as his skills start to exceed the car's, he can do a couple mods and go faster.

car?

mods...
1. sticky tires....you'll be shocked what you can do with R compounds.
