Diagnostic code

The service engine soon came on on my BMW 328i a few days ago. I had the code read at a mechanic shop and Ign. Secondary Monitor seem to be the code he extracted. He said there is nothing to wory about and I can use the car with no problem. Can anyone tell me what this error code means?
