BMW Roundel 91 318 m42 start up idle/power problem

Hi,
91, E30, M42 engine. Does not Idle at startup, feels like running rich, no power.
This problem started slowly from occasionally to now it’s constant. When start up, it starts well, then the idle fades until when the engine will die. After 2-3 restarts and pressing on the accelerator, the problem goes away. Once the engine is running, there is no power loss what’s so ever. Idles fine, city/highway driving fine, like no problem exists.
Parts changed so far, o2 sensor, not factory {NGK}, but aftermarket, the engine temp sensor was changed as well.
I had swapped an air flow meter from my other car, no change. Then I was told that I had a possible leaking injectors. So, I changed all 4. The problem is still there, Any Ideas. It seems to be a sensor problem, could the o2 sensor be hooked up incorrectly? Help, it’s driving me crazy.
tks, Joe

Have you run the codes? That would be where I would start. Take a look at this..http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/techarticles/Mult-Code_Reading/Mult-Code_Reading.htm
