BMW Roundel Engine Cooling System questions?

How do you get the air bubbles out from the Radiator after flushing and filling? when I tried to unscrew the bleeder cap the top part came off and the rest seems to be fused inside the hole!! I think the previous owner had this problem cuz it looked like the top part was epoxied on?
Should the temp ever get past 1/2 when doing normal driving?

BTW: Now that my son has a job he's actually putting $$$ into our project car!!!

Did you break the top off the bleeder screw, leaving the threads inside?
