replacing gearshift knob
I have an 87 325i with a torn shift boot. I have obtained a new shift boot and gearshift knob. Does anyone know how to get the knob off? I have tried to unscrew it without success. I don't want to break anything. Thanks.

If it's a stcok knob, pull straight up... hard, be careful not to hit yourself in the face
