DME editor??? how to???

I don't know about you but i've been looking for a copy of the dme editor for ever and i finally found it! I own a 93' 325i with a 95' M3 motor in it with 3.5" hfm and everything else you can buy for it. I've had a turbo kit sitting in my garage for over a year now with my only set back being ecu programming. AA wants an insane $999.00 for a $3.00 eprom! so screw them, i know i can run my car at 5.5lbs of bost with the stock chip but obviously that's not good enough for me. Even if i don't install the turbo, i've always dreamed of being able to custom make my own chips and tune my car. blah, blah, blah... like i said before, i have the motronic editor and can almost get it to work but can't figure out how to set the offset to read the maps. if you don't know what that means than you probably can't help me. If you do i'd love some advise on how to get started changing some timing and fuel values. How do all of the hundreds of tuning shops across the world know how to do this stuff? i can do it too. HELP!!! please... thanks
