Overheating problem
I just purchased a 93 325is and it is overheating very fast. It is leaking fluid and I don't know where from, I am getting a pressure test done on it and am not driving it at the present time in case something really bad happens. I was told it might be the thermostat, it is leaking out very slow and spraying underneath the engine.I don't have much knowledge of BMW's so input would be very helpfull. The electric fan does not turn on either,I figure it might be some kind of sending unit or there is some kind of switch.1 more thing, my backup lights don't work, but they do have new bulbs in them. Please help????

My good friend had this same problem for the most part...
93' BMW calls for A.)Water pump replacement (these go bad often in the 93' e36) B.)Regardless change the Thermostat C.)The leak is most likley coming from a tube that situated somewhere underneath and around the throttle body.( At least that was where it was on my friends car) |
