Transmission CODE 100 Help?

Is anybody familiar with a code 100? I believe it's a transmission slippage code or something like that. Basically there was smoke comming from my car because my tranny got so hot...Wondering if this has ever happened to anybody here? Transmission warning indicator light came on and the car was driven about 20 minutes with the light on before smoke started comming out...the fluid is definately burnt, but I am wondering if there could potentially be any severe damage to the tranny or anything else? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
