Code 1231 - Battery Voltage/DME Main Relay

I've got a intermittent flashing "Check Engine Light". It'll flash for a second or 2 then disappear. I got a 1231 code. Can it be anything from dying battery, voltage regulator, bad alternator, DME relay? Lites on dash seem to pulsate also?

1231 Battery Voltage/DME Main Relay Either the battery was disconnected or the voltage of the
battery is too low or too high. Check the battery and charging
system.
