front end rebuild! please help ?
ok, car hit a ditch about a year ago and I'm now realizing that the body shop didn't exactly do their job. They put a radiator in, ac stuff, a bumper cover, and paint. I'm missing the fender liner on the right, the brake ducts, I believe some sort of support and liner or duct goes under the radiator and bumper too but I have no idea what it is since I have nothing there either. the car is totally open under the radiator. Is this right or what am I missing ? Can someone help or maybe even post pics of what it should look like so I can fix this? thanks. 93 325is , Mike

You are missing the panel under the radiator.
Look at the diagrams on www.realoem.com You probably will have problems deciphering it since there are so many different configurations for different models. Post again if you still have a problem and I will try to help tomorrow.

great sire. I saved it for future reference. hoever, it doesn't show the plastic front end parts like the ducts and liners that I need. thanks for the info though.
basicly what would really help is to know if there is a panel that should be under my bumper cover and radiator? Other than that I know I need the fender liners and brake ducts. thanks again. , mike |

Yes, there should be a splash panel that covers the bottom of the radiator. The shape of this panel varies greatly from model to model.
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.do?model=BF33&mospid=47484&hg=51&fg=75 The top diagram here has the brake ducts(#5), pork chops (#6) etc Your splash panel is the second diagram down, but finding the right splash panel can sometimes be difficult. If you are paying out of pocket there may be an aftermarket alternative. Of course you can click on the diagrams to get closeups and part numbers.
