Clutch Disk Alignment tool won't fit

I just received the parts for my clutch replacement on my '95 M3. I noticed that the clutch alignment tool and pilot bearing I received don't fit together. The I.D. of the pilot bearing is significantly larger than the O.D. of the alignment tool. The pilot bearing is obviously the correct part, as it matches the part on the car, and it fits perfectly over the input shaft.

The part number for the pilot bearing: 11-21-1-720-310-M296

The part number for the tool: PEL-TOL-CABW

This appears to be the only tool available through Pelican. Is there another tool I need to order, or am I missing something here? Thanks.

Well, maybe this is the problem. The part shown on the peilcan website looks like this:



Yet the part I received looks like this:



Perhaps Pelican shipped me the wrong part by mistake?
