Engine rotates but will not start

Parked my car for a while (2 weeks) went to start it, and it turned over but wouldnt start so i sprayed ether in the intake manifold while it cranked over and nothing, so then i pulled alll the spark plugs and tested each coil and they all spark really well.

Shouldnt the ether have made it fire a few times atleast?

i unhooked the fuel line after the fuel filter and cranked it over and fuel came gushing out, so it should be getting fuel, like i said before i sprayed alot of ether in the engine and it never fired and theres spark, so now im thinking timing must be off or something but how could that happen letting the car sit. Its parked in a garage.

Tested the crankshaft sensor and its 552 ohms which is right

Did some testing and found out that my maf sensor may be broken. I have a 95 318is so it has the intake air temp sensor and mass air flow sensor in the one unit and there is the "vane" which is like a swinging door that measures the air and sends signal to the ecu. Well its suppose to fluctuate resistance on pins 1 and 2 when you swing the vane open and closed and it does nothing just sits a 11.6 K ohms.

Does anyone know if this would make my car not start?

k so i tried starting it again, no go. Then i thought well maybe the engine isnt gettting air some how, so i pulled the brake booster vacuum line of the intake manifold and created a vacuum leak, turned the car over and it made a loud ass pop. I was like oh ****, i thought i blew something apart, so i looked around and couldnt see anything.

Probably was all the fuel that was going in to the engine and not firing. Then i tried cranking it again and nothing gave it a little gas and it fired up but then died because of the vacuum leak, so i put the hose back on and re started it and it ran.

Now wtf, this sucks i didnt fix anything, so it will probably happen again, i have no idea what fixed unless somehow the icv was closed completely which i dont even think is possible.

Any ideas
