Unhappy e36 starting problem ...help!!!!

i have purchased a e36 16i coupe it has been running very well, i let it run out of petrol(i know supid of me) i have out more fuel in but now it wont go any ideas ........

try purging the fuel pressure acouple of times while using starter fluid. It usually works for me when I have to go rescue friends.
