'95 M3... what is causing my code 1244 camshaft position sensor? (new sensor didnt he

My '95 M3 is giving me code 1244:

Camshaft Position Sensor Displayed when the signal from the camshaft pulse generator is out of spec or absent. May indicate a problem with the injector side of the DME output stage.

I replaced the cps less than a year ago so I seriously doubt it is actually a bad cps.

*note: my car seems to always give me a check engine light. When I do the 5 pedal stomp however it will only read one code (it never reads multiple codes, it will just repeat whichever one code it is giving me) Sometimes it will give me 1244, sometimes it will give me 1281 (Dme memory unit supply) recently it gave me the HFM code but I found and fixed a vac leak that I believe caused it. I just reset the ce light and when I fired the car up it gave me code 1244 within a few seconds.

The car seems to run fine.... what in the world is causing my code 1244? What is a "problem with the injector side of the DME?" Can I test this somehow???

Mods are: conforti 3.5" intake/hfm/24lb injector setup, track pipe, borla cat back.

DME memory supply - sounds like a potential fault with the DME unit.

As for the bigger injectors, if you didn't increase your displacement or add forced induction, or run hotter cams, then your car is going to run richer, and have problems...

As for the DME memory unit supply, I have swapped ecu's with a known working unit and still have gotten the same code. I know the new DME is good. The fact that I still got the code even after swapping ecu's leads me to think that one of the many sensors must be sending a bad or erroneous signal to the DME which it interprets as a bad DME.

As for the 24lb injectors..... the conforti software is written for them. The pulsewidth (injector firing time) is adjusted accordingly. According to my wideband, my afr's are just about exactly where they should be hovering right around stoich at idle and cruise.... it gets rich up top (about 11.8:1) but that is how the chip is programmed in order to keep detonation at bay.

What is the difference between the denso blue top 24lb injectors and the ford motorsport blue top 24 lb injectors?

I am running the denso's, could that be the problem?
