removing window channel

So I put a new window regulator in the e36 that I just purchased. When I tested the sliding plastic pieces in the channel connected to the window, I discovered that they didn't move freely because one of the channels had been badly marred by the previous owner (this is what caused the regulator to break in the first place). Anyway, in the 101 project books it says to replace these worn channels, but how do I remove them from my window without destroying the window. They are attached to the window with 2 little clips and some type of epoxy. Any suggestions??

Thanks,
Rob Anthony
