1995 325is Coupe, Please if you can Help

I left my car to sit for about 2 months and then when i went out to start it, it started right up, but it feels like its running on 4 or 5 cylinders. it's very rough running and I took it out on the highway and after it got warmed up it seemed it was running fine, but sure enough after i pulled off the hwy and hit a couple of stop signs it was running really rough again. I'm really worried as i don't have a clue. When i drove it last if drove great and always has. I can't see any codes so I'm really in a pickle here. Anyone have this happen to them and does anyone know what might be the cause of this and how to trouble shoot and fix it?

Thanks for any help

How many times have you started it and driven since then? Does it do it every time?

Is it rough idle or sluggish acceleration?

I would:
check plugs
check coils
get fresh fuel
pull the intake and clean the throttle body
replace the fuel filter

Thats strange

Well it seems that after driving it a bit and really getting her warmed up she is back to purring like a baby. I don't understand it though. if i don't drive her for a while it drives like a completely different car. I thought i had a blown head gasket or that it was only firing on 4 of the six cylinders it was that bad and it didn't go away after warming up. the only thing that took it away was driving it and finally it started idling properly and has been ok ever since. Anyone with ideas or similar experiences are encouraged to write me back since any information on this would be appreciated greatly.

Thanks,
The Angel

I had rough starting issues on my 93 Sentra when I would start it and shut it off without letting it warm up. I'm pretty sure it was fouling the plugs but I dont know why.
