No rust = Easy work
I gotta thank you BMW original owners who keep your cars parked for the winter. I'm changing my struts and lower control arms on my 1997 328 convertible with 130k miles and I've not hit a rusted stuck bolt yet! This is why I think "high" mileage BMWs are a bargain. The person who shelled out the bills for a brand new BMW probably had the means to take care of it. So by the time I get to it the car is still in good shape. Keep hosing off the underside of your cars, if you please. It'll make my life easier in ten years when I can finally afford your new Z4.
