1988 325i - Electrical Connection Issues

I removed and recently replaced the engine in my 325i and didn't mark the wires very well. It appears that I got most of them back in place with the exception of three. and

In these pictures there are two that I have in place but it was a 50/50 shot (just to the left of the oil dip stick) They go to the two wires from the pulse generators and is in the same bundle as the third one which has two terminals and I can't seem to find a home for.

If anyone knows how best to troubleshoot the two pulse generator wires for the correct connector that would be great--outside of just trying to start the engine and troubleshooting. Plus finding a home for the connector with 2 terminals.

The third picture is a wire that I'm not sure was ever connected to anything and found it under the fuse box as seen below. Just want to confirm my conclusions were correct.

You need the Bentley manual. This has the pinout diagrams where you can disconnect the fuel injection harness at the ECU and check continuity. You will then know where each connector goes.

Picture three looks like the connector for the brake fluid level sensor.

The connector on the brake fluid cap is already in-place.

Idle control valve plug, crank sensor, coolant temp sensor, throttle position sensor all are around that area.
Could that 2 connector one be a brake sensor? All of my e30s are gone now but the plug sure looks familiar.
I agree with going back to the ecm plug, but you have to get the pin designations.

check for a connection just under the intake. there is a funny looking little hose which goes to your vapor canister and a place for one of your wires.

and if thatʻs not for your brake reservoir then it must go down to the coolant reservoir.

Funny looking hose was it! Thanks.

It doesn't go to the coolant reservoir. The wire is extremely short and is just to the front of the fuse box. the mystery continues.

THANKS.
