['92 e36 325i] tipsy when cornering.
While going around a bend on the highway at ~70mph, something in the suspension felt like it "let go", and the car dipped. Ever since, it has been difficult to maintain a proper line through a turn. The car feels like it is variably changing stiffness around a corner.
What I do know: * 185,000 mi * The shocks do not act blown, as the car does not "bounce" when you push on any corner (or while driving). * Shocks are not visibly leaking. * Front control arms replaced last year and bushings appear to be in place. * Alignment done after control arms replaced. No noticable change in camber or toe-in/out * Sway bar drop-links still connected * No movement in tie-rod / steering Have not checked: * Strut tower bearings front or rear (do not feel any play pulling on strut if that helps) * Suggestions? Everything looks old, but still feels pretty tight.. Not completely sure about the odd behavior, and haven't had much chance to dig into it since my other car is torn apart and on stands. Broken road spring
Anti roll bar links coil spring mounts onto the strut body you may need to start stripping it down and pulling the shock insert to really tell if its leaking, it could be a gas filled unit? |

I pulled the rear wheels off, one shock is leaking and one of the camber adjustment bolts looks like it has been moving around. I believe the rear camber of the right-rear has been shifting when i coner left or right.
