Hi I have 323i 99 i have deep sound come from the fan when i make A/C on at cold when i turn it off its not come the sound and no cold air at all come some time come few but most of time gone , i check gas it there and every one told me compresses . can you help me thanks

When the car is cold remove the fan belt and start the engine with the AC on. Does the noise go away? If yes then the compressor is seizing up. Do not run the engine for more than a minute since without the belt you will not have a water pump and you don't want to overheat the engine.
