2006 BMW 650i my check engine light is on.. When I start car it has a rough idle.... If I drive it 4 about 20min run in a store and come out it's difficult to start..... What can be my issue... when I diagnosed at AutoZone camshaft pop up and CPS - CPS ... I need help the guy said I will be a 4,500 dollar job..:

The fault code numbers would point you in the right direction. If you have cam crank correlation codes, which it sounds like you might. This could be a VANOS issue. If you had a professioanl diagnose the system you have the info as to what is wrong. If you think the repair is overpriced, you can call other local shops and ask for an estimate. This might b e your best bet.
