Hello, I have an e36 318is with a M44B19 block. I just recently replaced the two o rings inside the oil filter housing since it leaked. I've also replaced the disa valve, idle control valve, spark plugs and cleaned the fuel injectors. However, it still had a rough idle when stationary. It would sit around 600rpm and runs rich in emissions.

I would assume it could be a faulty thermostat since my temp gauge sometimes won't sit on the middle. Had the o2 sensors cleaned but it maybe faulty as well.

Any suggestions?

Is the check engine light on? Sounds like an engine misfire. I would check spark, fuel and compression on all cylinders.
