Hello, I have an e36 318is with a M44B19 block. I just recently replaced the two o rings inside the oil filter housing since it leaked. I've also replaced the disa valve, idle control valve, spark plugs and cleaned the fuel injectors. However, it still had a rough idle when stationary. It would sit around 600rpm and runs rich in emissions.
I would assume it could be a faulty thermostat since my temp gauge sometimes won't sit on the middle. Had the o2 sensors cleaned but it maybe faulty as well. Any suggestions? __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: |

Is the check engine light on? Sounds like an engine misfire. I would check spark, fuel and compression on all cylinders.
