Backup Light Wiring
19 82 320I/5-speed.. mechanic installed a replacement transmission..the backup light elect wiring is connected at the transmission. where is the connection on the body part of the car?

I would imagine there being a plug or a wiring loom runing close to the switch where you simply attach the leads.
