Ansa or Supersprint

ok...everyone tells me how quiet Supersprint is which is what I want. But I like the price of Ansa exhausts. I actually just ordered one. Does anyone know or has anyone heard the difference?

If the quality of Ansa's 914 muffler is any indication, the Ansa will start to visibly rust about 15 microseconds after you install it on your car. Of course, that could be the 914's legendary ability to corrode affecting the poor defenseless muffler...

The rep they have in 914 circles is "cheap, loud, and inexpensive." The price is by far the best thing about them, though some people also like the four-tip look.

I don't know if any of that carries over to their BMW products, but it sounds as if the "inexpensive" part just might... Not sure about the rest.

I second Dave on that. When I had a Ansa on my 914, one of the tips rusted through and fell off on the road.

I've heard moderately good things about both brands. SuperSprints are a bit more expensive.

I installe the Ansa on my car..Pretty quiet although I heard they get louder. It feels a little faster but I am not really sure. We will see how it goes when it breaks in.
