Question on BMW 3-Series Cam Sensor

Hello, i have a 1996 320iEU, and after the engine warms up, the car randomly stallscan start it up immediately, but then the car loses power. During acceleration the rpm needle isn't smooth, its jumping up like 300 rpms and feels low on power. Could it be a sensor problem? Or do you have any idea what should i check?

Is the check engine light on? Sounds like an engine misfire. I would check spark, fuel and compression on all cylinders.
