Just found this site and signed up. I recently bought my first BMW. It's a 1989 Red 325i convertible with a removable Hardtop, and I plan on fully restoring it.
Thanks for having me.

Joe

Here's some of the things it needs. Any help on where to, or how to would be appreciated. I suppose a lot of these are typical problems. I don't have a manual so I'm learning as I go.

1. Moulding between the front and rear side windows is missing.
2. Seat hides are shot.
3. Carpet.
4. Dashboard is cracked.
5. On board Computer works but is so dim it is impossible to use. Is there a way to turn it up brighter?

1. Pelican can provide you with all the winshield trim pieces you may need as well as 2. Seat hides, and 3. Carpet sets.

As for 5. Whats going on is that there are two small light bulbs inside the computer that occassionally burn out. If you pull the computer out of the dash, you will see a small plastic insert on the side, if you pull it out, it holds a small circuit board with the bulbs. What i did to fix the problem was to go down to Radio Shack and buy two small 6 volt light bulbs, then solder them in series in place of the old bulbs on the board.
