NO2 in an M3
Just bought my first BMW. A 1998 M3 with Dinan mods. Supercharger, exhaust, clutch, flywheel, suspension work, etc. Runs good, but I am toying with the idea of NO2. Any thoughts, nightmares, stories from anyone would be appreciated.

I have also never seen a car equipped with NO2 that wasnt in need of repair in some sort or has holes blown through pistons. I'm just not a real big fan of it in general. It is an relatively inaccurate means of raising compression to produce more horsepower. Personally, I think you would be throwing your money and quite possibly your engine away. There's also an old saying that goes, "for every second you run NO2, you take 10,000 miles off the life of your engine". Unless you are running a fully built race motor, this statement is probably accurate. Just my 2 cents.. |
