e36 M3 ignition comes on randomly by itself

I have a problem with my 97 e36 M3. Just purchases the car and it has a electrical issue. The ignition is coming on by itself for about 5-10 seconds. Tonight I pulled all the fuses. The brown fuse in the forward electrical distribution block stopped the issueOn the right front strut tower. See image. Pulling all the relays and fuses in the normal box did nothing to changed the issue. But now the dash lights are not illuminating when it cycles.... But I can still hear all the electrics coming onclicks or switches and relays. I use a test light so its easier to see when the car is turning on as the test light comes on.

The circuit seems to be Blk/Red which is becoming hot with the key off. See second video I put up. it cycles for 5 seconds on every 40 or so seconds....

Also the relay in the same box is becoming hot on pin 86 when it cycles...

Using the Bentley manual I have tracked this to a number of things on the wiring diagrams....

Some further advice would be great? Or do I just have to start eliminating the below? Also I just noticed the car is an October 97 build.

BLK/RED Oil temp Sensor
BLk/Red Ignition Coil Cylinder 2
Bentley manual page ELE 177 Body Control module power windows ??
ELE 178 Chime module
ELE 179 Chime module
ELE 234 Body Electronics Control pin 16 Blk/Red
ELE 235 Relay Module Pin 1 Blk/Red
ELE 249 Sunroof Control Module Blk/Red

If Anyone has some more pointers that would be great.

Most likely the body control module (GEM).

This turned out to be the smg controller. I guess it was looking for a hydraulic pressure and turning on both ign 1 and 2 to find it. Smg brain removed problem gone. Just had to close one of the relays with some solder.
