Agree with above post, strip the covering back where it connects at the back of the engine compartment, hook into the black signal wire, you will have to have a ground, then a 12v source with key on, and then one to one of your fuel injector pulse/signal wire. If your buying the LR one, they have instructions on the web site, if from Huntley, make sure you ask for the instruction sheet.
