It is quite possible that the engine matches; it is reasonably close to what I would expect. However only with a COA or Kardex can we be certain. I can assist getting the Kardex which may have more info than the COA. These days the engine & trans #'s need to be provided to PCNA and they will confirm IF they match. If you look at the VIN stamped into the front trunk and there is no S appended to it, if you look at the type box on the aluminum tag on the front slam panel and it only says 911, and if you look at the paint tag and the VIN does not have an S appended to it, then you do not have a 911S and the engine # is more likely to be original. It is interesting that from 306614 to 306619 all others are 911S.
