The issue with resume publishing now and use of graphics and such is that the automated systems that are the "front door" for most companies can get confused and miss on any of the key word searches that would trigger that resume to be reviewed by a human. The entire content of the "pretty" resume can be garbled.

The use of a plain text (Word doc) might be beneficial for on-line applicants - and then provide a "pretty" version in person for the interview and or career fair.
