I don't really like the "Quick Six" mount. It's huge and heavy, probably 35 lbs or more of iron. It interferes with the heat exchangers (if you need heat) and with some of the shift linkages you can get.

At least it isn't prone to breaking like some of the other "crossbar" mounts.

I would suggest using a firewall mount. The "Sport Mount" is my favorite so far. See our on-line catalog for details on that.
