I don’t follow modern Porsches at all, so when I read an article about the Taycan I was seriously confused for a bit.

Yes, it’s Porsche’s full electric, Tesla competition. I thought I knew that.

But then I read that there are 2 models, the Taycan Turbo and the Taycan Turbo S.

Huh??

That is totally bizarre. I can’t even imagine how anyone thought that naming an electric, (obviously) non-turbo car a “Turbo” is a good idea.

That being said, I guess 95% of buyers won’t see the issue and will tell people how fast their Taycan is because of the “Turbo.”

And they can one-up Tesla. For all the tech Tesla’s have, they aren’t turbo-charged! So take that Elon!
