This is much more like what I actually built. I built the center first, and added the shed roof additions one at a time. The upper part has a cathedral ceiling and post and beam trusses. Makes a nice space with the gable end windows. I also built a small porch out into one of the shed addition roofs. It is styled like a big red Barn, and is a real sleeper from the street. There is no porch sticking out the front, and you can't see the porch from the street side.
The main part is stick built, but the side additions are pole barn construction. I originally wanted to do one like the first one pictured, but I eventually settled on a design that could be built by one person with an occasional helper.
