So is this original 72? or later like SC brake caliper?

That's an A type or possibly a wide A, The A was used on the front of Carrera and SC thru '83, An A uses a 20mm thick rotor a wide A uses a 24mm thick rotor. The wide A was used on the front of Carrera from '84 thru '89
