To the best of my knowledge, you can't do this. The intake runners are smaller and have a different offset/mounting angle. There's prolly more, but I'm just stupid.
As far as the 1.7 harness, I asked Bowlsby and he said "electrically" they are the same/similar. Some of the connections are slightly different (location wise).
That said, if your friend needs an intake plenum, runners, air cleaner, injectors, pressure sensor and brain, I believe I have them all and would be glad to help him out. One or all, email me if interested and I would answer Monday, otherwise, post here or send a PM.
