Yea, but they will be up inside huge "tubs" but from the outside it is OK. The ride height may be all wrong if the car was channeled to get it to the typical just above scraping the ground level.

In the end, it is just a car, and personal property. They can do whatever they want to their personal property as long as it is their own money.

I see the same type of thing on the 911 tech site all the time. One owner makes a car into a track oriented track whore, and the new owner makes it a street car again. Lots of threads on removing the AC systems or going to headers and no heat. Then the new owner trying to find the parts to make it a comfortable street car. Or the other way around.
