Yeah, I don't remember how I did the last 3.2 engines I did, but once 'fixed' the tool is a slick solution. The tool lifts the sealing lip away from the crank, so there is no possibility of the lip folding back
Also, no chance of the spring coming loose, which can happen if you are 'tapping' the seal in.
My complaint is that it is expensive and I had to modify it before I could use it.
