This, totally ignore the oil level gauge and the dipstick until the engine is up to full operating temp, and then with the car at idle for a minute, on LEVEL ground, check the oil level. And between the lines on the dip stick is full! Don't fill to the top mark.

You are likely way over full, and oil is sucked from the oil tank breather right into the intake.
