Seems Bosch has superseded part numbers and the new line of pumps do not exactly match the old. The new pump comes with screw on ends, and input bib and an output thread to which you need to screw on your banjo bolt. So there's no check valve internal. I have a later model (80-83) external screw on check valve but as you folks know its 12mm and my banjo is 10mm. Ugh.
So now I don't know what to do. I did a quick search and see a few sketchy offerings for the correct pump online. So take my chances? Any other options? Anyone know where I can get a 10mm external check valve? I really dont want to replace the tunnel fuel lines.
BTW, the correct fuel pump for my 78SC is Bosch PN 580-254-984. If you order a porsche pump number 91135606607 you will now get a Bosch 580 464 202 which will not work with a 78-79sc. Im pretty sure you 80-83 folks can use it with your external check valve.
Thanks all.

Pete,
I have a new FP 580-254-984 with extended neck for my SC. Have you tried to buy the FP using the Bosch ID # instead of the designated Porsche part #? I never used the Porsche part # ever when buying parts for CIS. I simply use the Bosch part #.
