I do like the idea of the Bosch replacement regulator in a machined body, but keep in mind if you are tying to use the factory mapping the lowest pressure available in this regulator is 3.0 BAR which is ~44psi. the factory 911 regulator is 2.5 BAR, so the unit you have will push more fuel.
Also on these dampers the original would have had much higher volume. The drop in cartridge dampers are designed for sequential fire injection not the batch fire our cars came with. to meet the requirements of our batch fire system the dampers should really have more volume or more dampers.
Coincidentally there is a company specializing in 928s that make a rebuildable FPR and Damper explicitly for the 2.5 BAR and batch fire systems as the 85-86 928 use the exact same regulator and damper as the 3.2 Carrera.
