I would recommend getting a noid light - any auto parts store has them - just get the one for BOSCH systems. That will localize the problem to either a bad signal from the DME or a problem with the injectors.
Since you just had the head out. Are you sure you connected the two sensors (Speed and reference) correctly?
Also. How long was the car sitting? the injectors will gum up and stick close over time. Hit them with a 9 volt battery. You should hear the injector click. You can also use a battery charger - 12 volt 2 amp setting. Many times, if the injector is gummed up, this will break it free.
