For the same kind of money spent on the RE730, 750 or whatever 7-Bridgestone, you can get a stickier, higher performing tire in the Kumho Ecsta MX. The MX has a lower UTQG rating of 220 versus 340 for the 750. But take that with a grain of salt because the #'s don't always apply from tire to tire. Especially between different manufacturers. The tread depth on the MX is a little shallower at 9/32nds, versus the standard 10/32nds for the 750. The shallower tread gives a slightly more stable tire from the get go.

MX is a bit cheaper too. I have the MX and think they're a great tire. Said to be one of the better bang-for-your-buck tires out there. Problem is, there's only two 16 inch sizes available. The Porsche standard 205/55 and 225/50 is all they make in 16's.

Another that falls in the same price range is the Yoko AVS ES100. This one's been discussed alot on the tech forum. Do a search and see what you find?
