Polish Chrome (Poland) vs. polished chrome have very different meanings.

Maybe a bit of a jab at Polish people. Like when some ethnic group of people are involved with a certain way of doing something in society. Case in point, in my experience living where I do, people who drive up the to a house honking their horn to alert an occupant of said house that they are there to pick them up, rather than walk to the door, is called “A xxxxxxx Doorbell.”

Polish chrome could be polished aluminum.
