Replacing the blower motor can definitely be a tight and awkward job, especially with that fourth screw hiding behind the ducting.
If you're not looking to fully remove the duct, one trick some folks use is a flex shaft screwdriver or a small ratcheting wrench with a short bit adapter. That way, you can get in at an angle without needing a ton of clearance. A magnetic tip or some tape on the bit also helps keep the screw from falling into the abyss once it’s loose.
It’s doable with patience, but yeah, upside down and cramped isn’t exactly a fun combo. If it starts feeling like too much of a pain, pulling the duct temporarily might actually save time (and sanity).
